Carpet Cleaning
Estimated range: $0.15 to $0.45 per square foot. Residential cleaning is typically charged per room with a minimum visit rate of $100 to $250.
Strip & Wax Floors: Estimated range: $0.30 to $0.75 per square foot.
No-Wax Floors: Deep Cleaning/Polishing. Estimated range: $0.12 to $0.30 per square foot (general flooring).
Tile & Grout: If the job requires deep cleaning of heavily soiled grout with special brushes and subsequent grout sealing, the price can increase considerably, ranging from $0.50 to $0.90 per square foot.
Restaurants
Price per square foot: $0.20 to $0.35 per square foot (May increase to $0.40–$0.50 if deep cleaning of commercial kitchen lines or exhaust hoods is included).
Price per hour: $50 to $90 per hour
Commercial Offices
Price per square foot: $0.10 to $0.25 per sq. ft. (Tends to decrease to $0.08 – $0.15 in larger spaces over 10,000 sq. ft.).
Price per hour: $35 to $60 per hour (per cleaner).
Typical monthly contracts:
Small office (<2,000 sq. ft.): $400 – $800 per month (1 or 2 visits per week).
Medium office (2,000 – 5,000 sq. ft.): $800 – $1,500 per month.
What’s included: Cleaning desks, emptying trash cans, disinfecting restrooms and break areas, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
Apartment Buildings/Condominiums (Common Areas)
Price per square foot: $0.05 to $0.20 per sq. ft.
Price per hour: $30 to $50 per hour.
Common monthly contract rates (based on complex size):
Small buildings (e.g., up to 50 units, cleaning 3 times per week): $1,500 to $2,500 per month.
Medium/large complexes (100 to 200 units, daily service): $4,000 to $8,000 per month.
What’s included: Cleaning of hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobby, management offices (leasing office), building gym, common restrooms, and trash collection in recreational areas (such as the pool or terraces).
If the service is weekly, the price drops to $20 to $35 per hour.
